The Department of Information Management was formally established in 1991. Our goal of education is to equip graduates with theoretical and practical knowledge of information technology and management science, preparing them for the real world.
The department's teaching and research endeavors are clustered into the following four main discipline areas:
• Mobile computing and networking
• Digital multimedia design
• Intelligent information systems
• Electronic commerce
The
Department is largely and diversely covering all the major subject areas in the
discipline and has over 750 students, including around 50 graduate students.
